The Model 16 uses the new Delta 2000 control. It provides both conversational shop floor programming as well as the ability to receive off-line generated programs. Standard features include expanded memory, buffered input, Conversational graphics, hard drive program storage and more. The Model 16 can be operated manually with the two pulse generators. These can also be used to create programs directly using the "Learn mode" in the DynaPath control.

Auto Lube
Each Model 16 has a complete automatic lube oil system. Electrically powered to deliver oil to the ways, ball screws and other critical items. Oil delivery amount and timing can be adjusted based on working conditions. System has audible low oil level indicator.
Operator Station
Full enclosure with sliding doors for full access to any portion of the work area. Operator controls, both manual pulse generators and CNC DynaPath control are mounted on sliding door for ease of adjustment. Gear box control with three speed ranges is on the right side for fast changes. Note electrical interlock on door is standard.
Way Surfaces
Bed width is 13" for maximum tool and work support.
All machine ways are hardened and ground for long accurate life.
All way surfaces are oil lubricated with an automatic lube oil system.
Machine Construction
The base, cross slide and saddle are certified MeehaniteR castings that have been stress relieved. The heavily ribbed bed casting has vibration-dampening characteristics, very important for machine rigidity and accuracy.
